It is a hybrid between two genera: Pachyphytum and Echeveria. The crested form has a long and thick stem, on the top of which tiny bluish-green leaves grow close to each other, to create a beautiful fan-shaped crest, highly appreciated by green collectors all over the world. With prolonged exposure to the direct sun, the tips turn pink and dark purple. The epidermis appears to be sprinkled with a white powder. It is a decorative plant that gives a touch of elegance to your plant compositions, or it can simply be placed in your gardens, where in summer it will show off its best colors.
