Pachypodium densiflorum f. crestata (Crested)

The crested form of P. densiflorum is very rare, which is why it is highly sought after and appreciated by collectors from all over the world. It is a slow growing caudiciform succulent plant with a low and branched habit. The color of its trunk, where it stores water to survive periods of drought, is silvery with green hues, and in the period of vegetative rest it loses all its leaves.
