Gymnocalycium gibbosum f. crested (Crested)

The crested form of Gymnoalycium gibbosum has irregular fan-shaped ribs of an opaque greyish-green color. This feature makes each plant unique. Its globular and slow-growing stem has well-defined ribs. Its erect spines, of variable length, which tend to curve upwards, are of a yellowish-white color. Its funnel-shaped inflorescences are of a silky white color.
