Gymnocalycium damsii f. crested (Crested)

The crested shape of this cactacea has the typical compact fan arrangement, which makes each specimen absolutely unique, never identical to another and for this reason much appreciated by collectors. In its normal form it is a small cactus with a globular shape, which tends to cluster at the base. It has well marked ribs, from wide to acute, and serrated protrusions. Its stem, from spherical-depressed to short cylindrical, with a color ranging from light green to brownish-green, is characterized by its light and dark horizontal stripes, for an overall brilliant effect and a pleasant chromatic contrast!
