Echeveria setosa f. crestata (Crested)

The crested form has smaller and more compact leaves, tightly stacked together and arranged in the typical fan shape with a sinusoidal pattern, never identical from one specimen to another and therefore highly sought after by collectors. In its normal form, Echeveria setosa is a succulent plant that usually grows in a solitary rosette, but over time it can create clusters at its base. It’s made up of elongated, pointed and spoon-shaped leaves, in which the intense green color is covered with a short white wool (hence the name 'silky'). The plant uses these small hairs to trap moisture from the air and thus is able to survive in periods of drought. This plant is perfect for decorating gardens, but also ideal for indoors.
