A wonderful succulent with an attractive appearance, a rare specimen that proudly displays its fan-shaped crest. Among the most sought after in the world of succulents thanks to its crested shape that is never identical in different specimens making each one unique. E. 'Curly locks' in normal form is a hybrid, generated in the nursery by Harry Butterfield from two specimens of Echeveria 'Ruffles' and Echeveria 'Ripples'. Arranged in a wide rosette, its leaves are elongated, obovate and terminus, instead of the usual pointed shape, in a strongly wavy margin, similar to the curls of the hair (hence the name of the species). The epidermis is bluish green that is dyed pink along the margins and, sometimes it also fades inward when exposed to the right brightness. During the summer, Echeveria 'Curly locks' takes on an additional chromatic charm thanks to the small orange flowers that bloom on top of long stems. E. 'Curly locks' f. crested not its colorful curls, with the fan crest and beautiful flowers can not miss in your collection.
