This plant is a hybrid of 2 species: Echeveria setosa and Echeveria pulvinata. The crested shape of this plant has the characteristic compact fan arrangement, which makes it highly sought after by green collectors, because each specimen is unique in its kind, never identical to another. In its normal form it is a small succulent that grows in the shape of a voluminous rosette, usually solitary, but over time it can also cluster at the base. Its fleshy fresh green leaves spread towards the apex and are covered with a dense whitish down. During the dormant period, the edges of the leaves take on a bright red color.
