The crested shape of this plant is much loved and highly sought after for its beautiful compact fan arrangement, which makes each specimen unique and unrepeatable. In its normal form it is a small succulent with a rosette arrangement, which can be either solitary or branched at the base. Its leaves are fleshy, similar in shape to the hull of a boat, tending upwards and arranged in a star shape. It is much appreciated for its particular color that varies from intense green to light green with dense rust-red dots, which make it ideal for giving a touch of color to both modern and rustic design environments.
