Oxygonum sp. (Caudex)

This piece of succulent wood caudex is very appreciated for its particular look. It has, in fact, an underground bulb that helps in the survival of the plant during periods of drought by storing water. From this caudex come out stems of green color with fleshy leaves of intense green color, oval shape with serrated margins and veins well evident.
