Cyphostemma pachypus (Caudex)

This caudiciform succulent native to Madagascar is highly appreciated for its particular appearance. It has a caudex where it stores the quantities of liquids necessary for survival during periods of drought. Long green stems with a climbing habit emerge from the caudex. The leaves are found along the stems, are green in color and have an oval shape. The flowers bloom at the ends of the stems, are small in size and pink or reddish in color.
