Sulcorebutia rauschii f. aureispina (Cactus)

 Very particular cactus, also called "gold" or "yellow spines", characterized, as seen from the name, by its very intense yellow spines, which strongly contrast with the purple tubercles typical from the rauschii varieties. Compared to the variety with dark spines, it has longer and more evident spines, some of which are even protruding. It is a miniature cactus, which tends not to get very large, though grows in groups of numerous heads. It has flowers of a lighter color than the other species of rauschii do, tending to be more of a light pink-mauve color.
