Sulcorebutia purpurea subs. horacekii Laguna Molinero (Cactus)

Small spherical cactus of a dark green color, which may turn more purplish when exposed to the sun. This subspecies, compared to the Sulcorebutia purpurea, has shorter and thicker dark spines along the body of the plant. The inflorescences, with their typical funnel shape, are usually of a dark magenta color.
