Sulcorebutia muschii (Cactus)

Sulcorebutia muschii is a plant with extremely variable spines. These can vary in color, closer to the top they tend to be orange-brown, while at the base they take on a gray color. The spines are quite thick and grow from the numerous tubercles present along the stem. Rising from the bottom up, the thorns tend to tangle on themselves more and more, as if to protect the center of the stem.
