Pot: 5x5 cm.
It is named after the collector Andrew Langer who discovered it near Vallegrande. It is characterized by a small globose body of red-blackish color that with the growth tends to turn abundantly. Its thick thorns are white and combed, do not exceed the 3 millimeters of length and completely wrap the stem, making the exemplar totally candid at first sight. The crested shape of this cactus presents the typical fan-shaped arrangement that makes each specimen absolutely unique, never identical to another and for this reason so much appreciated by collectors.
