Sulcorebutia callichroma (Cactus)

Cactacea with a globular stem, slightly depressed at the apex, of a beautiful dark green tinged with purplish depending on the sun exposure. The body is equipped with rather evident rhomboid tubercles, completely "crossed" by a long and narrow areola, from which very thin and short yellowish-brown thorns branch off, combed to completely envelop each single tubercle. It is very common to find the main body surrounded by small offsets that will grow to generate a small multi-headed pillow, in which geometric perfection blends perfectly with the chromatic harmony of the whole.
