Puna subterranea f. variegated (Cactus)

The variegated shape of this cactaceae has yellowish shades or spots in places where there is a lack of chlorophyll; such stains will never be identical in plants making each of them unique and for this reason highly sought after by collectors around the world. In its normal form it is a cactus with strong tuberous roots and gray-green cylindrical stems. They are equipped with protruding tubercles above which are white and fluffy areoles. Thin, whitish and long spines emerge from the latter. Daytime flowering occurs in the summer with flowers from pink-yellow to brown.
