Puna subterranea (Cactus)

It is a small-sized plant with strong tuberous roots and gray-green cylindrical stems. They are equipped with protruding tubercles above which are white and fluffy areoles. Thin, whitish and long spines emerge from the latter. Daytime flowering occurs in the summer with flowers from pink-yellow to brown.
