Puna incahuasi (Cactus)

It is na opuntioideae plant with semi-buried tuberous roots. Its thin and green stems can form large tufts with more than 100 heads. Unlike the other species, this one tends to slowly proliferate and blooms with larger flowers of a red/violet color.
