Also called "monkey's hand", because of its cylindrical club-shaped stems. It is sprinkled with numerous very short reddish-brown spines. Its flowering occurs very rarely, blooming with flowers, which are green-brown outside and yellow inside. Like all monstrous forms, also in this case the plant assumes irregular shapes, compared to the normal plant, having small spiny tubercles, that surround the apexes of the stems, making it look like some sort of a prolifera plant.
