Very showy cactus, consisting of a globular body, slightly depressed at the top, of a beautiful intense and brilliant emerald green, with longitudinal ribs enriched by perfectly rounded tubercles; on them, from large rounded and white areolas, often woolly, light yellow radial spines emerge, thin and short, well straight and and much longer and more robust central spines, yellow-orange and hooked downwards. The charm of this cactus is amplified in summer when at the top, in the midst of the soft white fluff, large single flowers consisting of thin multilayer petals bloom, which will give deep liveliness to your rooms with their unmistakable red-orange hue.
