Beautiful globe-shaped cactus. Its stem is entirely covered by soft and thin thorns, of cream white colour that wrap the plant and are similar to hairs. With the growth of the plant they lengthen. The stem shows several ribs and has a dark violet colour, with white woolly areoles. The beautiful funnel-shaped flowers bloom at the apex of the plant, have large size and very bright colors fuchsia or purple pink with white-cream shades in the center.
