Mammillaria uncinata SB316 (La Blanca) (Cactus)

M. uncinata was found in La Blanca in Mexico by the US collector Steven Brack, who gave it the code SB316. It is a globular and generally solitary cactus with a fast growth, which can become depressed at the apex and branched over time. Its green stem with pronounced tubercles is slightly covered with a white down. Its name ‘M. uncinata’ comes from its brown and very hooked spines.
