Mammillaria pettersonii (Cactus)

M. petersonii is an exemplar of a globe-shaped cactus that expands and creates new shoots. Its glaucous green stem has numerous tubercles, well marked, among which we can notice some white down. Numerous radial and central thorns emerge from the white areolas. The first ones have a yellow colour, are long and thin whilst the central ones are less numerous, of brown colour, longer and robust. During the flowering period, this magnificent cactaceae gives beautiful bell-shaped flowers with bright colors, with pale pink petals and a fuchsia midline, for a very pleasant visual impact.
