Art. 45205
It is a miniature cactacea, very small but particular and refined at the same time; its globular stem does not exceed two centimeters in diameter, but tends to cluster, creating a beautiful multi-headed cushion. It is much loved for its unusual very short, soft and truly candid white spines, which, arranged in a corolla, form small white balls contrasting with the purplish color of the stems. Even the flowers, in spring, contribute to making this plant so extravagant: they are very large compared to the other species of the Mammillaria genus, of a typical magenta color that fades towards the white throat: the colors that extraordinarily underline the beauty both of the stem and the spines.
