Mammillaria laui (Cactus)

It is a small cactacea with a very clustered habit. Its globular stem is densely covered with soft white spines, which makes it resemble a snowball. Flowering occurs in spring and is very abundant. Its purple flowers are quite small, that make an evident contrast to the white color of the plant.
