Mammillaria bombycina (Cactus)

It is a cactus that can be solitary or grouped. Its bright green stem is spherical in shape and has conical tubercles. At the end of these tubercles there are downy areoles, from which central spines emerge, ranging in color from yellow to brown, while those at the base are of a lighter color. The lower spines of each areole are hooked at the end, while the others are straight and shorter. In spring, it blooms with flowers, that are funnel-shaped and have a color, ranging from white to dark pink.
