Horridocactus horridus (Cactus)

Rare, small cactacea with a globular shape and generally solitary. It has a brownish green stem with numerous well-marked ribs, where small sturdy white-greyish thorns emerge. During the summer, it rarely generates beautiful yellow-orange funnel-shaped flowers.
