Gymnocalycium spegazzinii f. monstrous (Cactus)

Beautiful exemplar of slow-growing cactus, in its monstrous form enjoys a unique and unmistakable look.The monstrous form is represented by strong changes in the appearance of the plant, such as the loss of thorns or ribs. In this case G. spegazzinii presents deformations in the ribs, which make it assume an asymmetric and unique form, never repeatable in another specimen. G. spegazzinii f. monsrous has a globose stem, where there are present woolly white areoles from which come out the robust curved yellowish and greyish spines. Its magnificent flowers, funnel-shaped, have white-pink tonalities.
