Gymnocalycium dubniorum (Cactus)

Cactaceae with an extremely symmetrical and brilliant appearance, formed by a globose stem, slightly depressed at the apex, of a pleasant dark green tone, almost brownish and very shiny. It is equipped with longitudinal ribs well spaced, in turn slightly tuberculate. From ovoid and whitish areoles usually come out 3 or 5 well robust and grey awl thorns, some shorter and nearer to the body of the cactus, others even a few centimeters long and facing outwards. In spring the charm of this plant is further accentuated by large funnel-shaped flowers that bloom at the apex of the cactus and generate a pleasant color contrast with their pinkish-white shades, extremely elegant and refined!
