Gymnocalycium chiquitanum (Cactus)

This globular cactus has white areoles from which few spines emerge and a stem with flattened ribs and small ridges. The flowers certainly do not go unnoticed both for their considerable size and for the splendid shades ranging from white to pink. While giving majestic inflorescences, the plant tends to remain small in size and therefore is well suited to growing in pots in small spaces.
