Escobaria tuberculosa f. crested (Cactus)

The crested shape of a cactus presents the crest fan-shaped, very particular that will never be identical in two different plants, making each of them unique in its kind and much appreciated by collectors of succulents. In its normal form it has a cylindrical shape slightly swollen on the sides, with an emerald green stem equipped with conical tubercles among which is located , a slight white lint, which tends to disappear with growth. From its round areolas come out thick radial spines of whitish colour, well straight and radiated, and two or three central brown-reddish spines facing outwards, which tend to lengthen at the apex and to head upwards. Right in the middle of the latter will bloom, in summer, large pink flowers with pleasing multi-layered petals!
