Escobaria aguirreana (Cactus)

Beautiful cactus with a globular shape tending towards columnar. Its deep green stem is equipped with protruding tubercles above which are the white, downy areoles. From the latter emerge its white spines which tend to become darker, brownish as they grow. Its beautiful cream-colored flowers bloom at the apex of the stem.
