Echinopsis oxygona f. variegated (Cactus)

The variegated shape of this cactus presents yellowish shades in some points of the epidermis where there is a lack of chlorophyll, stains and shades that will never be the same in plants and will make each of them unique in its kind. In the normal form E. oxygona is a globe-shaped cactus that over time becomes cylindrical. Its green stem has tuberculate ribs above which are placed its radial and central spines. The former are numerous whitish with brown tips, while the central ones are less numerous and more robust with darker tips. In spring at the apex of the stem bloom beautiful funnel-shaped flowers of large size and pink color.
