Echinocereus spinigemmatus (Cactus)

E. spinigemmatus is a columnar cactus found in Mexico, in the countries of Jalisco and Zacatecas. The green stem is equipped with tubercles and above them we find the areoles from which its spines emerge. The latter are radial and central; the former are thin and whitish while the central ones are more robust, longer and also darker. Its flowers bloom at the apex of the stem, are pink-fuchsia in colour and give the plant a delicate appearance.
