Echinocereus maritimus (Cactus)

It is a cylindrical cactaceae with a branched habit. The light green stem has tubercles with large round areoles. Its characteristic yellow spines emerge from these areoles: the radial ones are straight, star-shaped and rather long, while the central ones are robust. From spring to autumn, funnel-shaped, large bright yellow flowers bloom.
