Echinocactus x diabolicus (Cactus)

This cactus exemplar is a hybrid of two species of echinocactus, most likely between E. platyacanthus and .E. horizonthalonius. It has a bluish green stem with tuberculate ribs above which are placed white and fluffy areoles. The thorns of this cactus emerge from the areoles and are long, yellowish or brown, slightly curved. Also at the apex of the stem there is a white fluff that gives the plant a very particular appearance.
