Echinocactus texensis is a robust solitary cactus (very rarely accestisce), also called "Candy cactus", that is "Cactus caramella", because of its red fruits that are used to produce a type of sweetener. Its green-greyish stem has numerous evident ribs, where rigid and curved radial spines and straight central thorns of pink-greyish color emerge. This plant is ideal for decorating your rocky gardens. The crested shape of the cactus presents the typical fan-shaped arrangement that makes each specimen absolutely unique, never identical to another and for this reason so much appreciated by collectors.
