Coryphantha valida (Cactus)

C. also known as C. poselgeriana is a beautiful exemplar of a globe-shaped cactus that tends to become cylindrical over time and reaches 30 cm in nature. Its stem has a shade of intense green or glaucous green and has several tubercles marked of esagonal shape. The radials are numerous, slightly curved towards the stem and whitish, initially, to become brownish with the passage of time; the central ones are less numerous ( usually 1) but more robust and also curved. Its beautiful funnel-shaped flowers bloom at the apex of the plant; they have shades of yellowish white with the central line of pink color.
