Coryphantha elephantidens f. variegated (Cactus)

The variegated shape of this cactaceae presents the typical yellow zones in correspondence of the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent: such zones will never be the same from one specimen to another, for this reason every plant is so sought after and loved by true connoisseurs. In its normal form, it is a cactus plant with a solitary posture, which with time can become attached to the base. Its olive-green, medium-sized stem is slightly concave at the apex, with large domed and fluffy tubercles. From the elongated areolas come out curved and robust spines of yellowish color. The flowering occurs from late summer to autumn, blooming with flowers, ranging in color from light yellow to pale pink.
