Cleistocactus roseiflorus (Cactus)

This cactacea, with an elongated cylindrical habit, tends to branch out at the base over time. Its dark green stem has multiple well-defined ribs, equipped with large oval downy areoles. Its dense thin, yellowish-white spines completely cover the plant, the spines at the apex are of a darker shade. During the flowering season, pink flowers bloom, hence the name 'Roseiflorus'.
