Astrophytum hybrid f. variegated (Cactus)

A globular succulent plant that can become columnar over time. One of the most particular Astrophytums, which is highly appreciated by succulent lovers for its particular epidermis, embellished with variegations that vary in all the colors of the rainbow: from green to purple, from yellow to pink! The plant is entirely covered with white dots, which give it an almost silver appearance. It can have from three to ten (most commonly five) well marked ribs, sometimes slightly spiraled. This cactus features sparse areoles with small curling spines, which makes the plant even more gorgeous. During spring, at the apex of the cactaceae large funnel-shaped inflorescences bloom, that are entirely yellow. It is a plant easy to grow, therefore suitable even for beginners.
