Dicrocaulon

Dicrocaulon

They are plants native to South Africa, accustomed to mild climates and high temperatures. The stem encloses liquids for use during periods of drought. The leaves are very fleshy, oval in shape and light green or green in colour. You can also notice very fine hairs covering the leaves. The flowers are small, daisy-like in shape, and generally yellow in color. They give a touch of delicacy to the plant. Dicrocaulon prefers to be placed in bright, airy environments and during the hottest hours of summer days it is recommended not to leave them under direct rays of the sun. The soil used for this species must be a well-draining soil to avoid waterlogging and root rot to which the plants are subject.
