It’s a cactus vulgarly called 'Penis Cactus' - Cactus Penis', 'San Pedro Penis'- San Pedro Penis', 'The More Sensual of Cacti'- The most sensual of cacti'. Its stem is light green and this color, together with the yellow of the variegation, creates a very appealing visual impact. This cactus expands by branching and creating new stems. The yellow-brown thorns are sparse and located at the base of the cactus; with the growth of the plant they tend to disappear . It is a plant of easy cultivation suitable for neophytes. Synonym : Echinopsis lageniformis f. monstrous variegated.

It likes an exposure to full sun in rather airy locations.
It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 6 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.
Water moderately, only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water the plant once a week in spring and summer, once a month in autumn and to suspend watering completely in winter.
The best option is a soil suitable for cacti, even better if further mixed with pumice or lapilli.
They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
