Description:

The name Titanopsis derives from the Greek "titanos" which means calcareous rock and "opsis" which means "similar", given its resemblance to small calcareous rocks, in nature this characteristic helps the plant to camouflage itself in the surrounding environment. This beautiful grey or bluish green succulent grows in the shape of a rosette. Its upright leaves at the ends are covered with many wart-like bumps. It is a low-growing plant that grows taller over the years.  In late autumn you can admire its beautiful yellow-orange daisy-like flowers.

Plant care:

It likes an exposure to full sun in rather airy locations.

It prefers rather mild temperatures, however it still survives even at temperatures close to freezing if the soil is dry.

Water moderately, only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water the plant once a week in spring and summer, once a month in autumn and to suspend watering completely in winter.

The best option is a well-draining and porous soil, even better if further enriched with inert materials such as pumice or lapilli.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
