It is a very rare slow growing cactus, for this reason it is often found grafted onto other plants. Its epidermis can fade from gray-green to bluish. The central spines of this Sclerocactus are long and hooked of a white or brown color, while the radial spines are white and parallel to the stem. At the end of April you can admire its beautiful pink-purple flower with lighter shades.
