Mammillaria fraileana

This small cactus has a body with narrow cylindrical stems grouped at the base. The green epidermis tends to redden, when it is exposed to intense light. Thin, white and combed spines and a single central hooked spine of dark brown color emerge from its areoles. During the flowering period, in spring / summer, it blooms with beautiful white-pink flowers, that crown it.
