An evergreen climbing plant with elongated, shiny and variegated fleshy leaves, appreciated a lot for its versatility, which is perfect for adorning houses and offices. Particular for its white variegation. Also known as the “Plant with wax flowers”, the Hoya carnosa generates flowers, that are grouped in clusters, which are of an umbrella shape, quite fragrant and are of a white-pink color.

Plant care:
It requires a lot of light throughout the year, however, avoid direct sun rays, especially during the hottest hours of the day, as long as they might burn the leaves.
It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 10 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.
It is advisable to always keep the soil slightly moist, never dry. Beware of stagnant water that could cause rotting.
The best soil is a well draining one, for example formed by a mixture of peat and pumice so that the water does not stagnate.
They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
