Cereus peruvianus red f. crested

This cactus has a peculiar fan-like shape, which is why it is much appreciated and sought after by cactus collectors. Its grayish-green epidermis has white downy areoles, which are formed very close to each other on the crest, almost forming a continuous line, which are, however, sparser along its stem. It has red-brown needle-like spines.
