A rare succulent plant, which naturally grows close to Springbok in the Namaqualand desert in South Africa. This small succulent plant is made up of fleshy leaves, joined at the base in bright light green pairs with visible veins inside. Like the other Conophytum, this plant also has a particular growth: the new leaves are formed inside the stem and then come out when the old leaves begin to dry out. The dry leaves protect the plant body during the vegetative rest, like some sort of a blanket. In autumn you can admire its flowers of different colors: pink, yellow or white.
