Merremia sp. (Caudex)

A succulent, characterized by a very particular spherical tuber, exposed outside the ground and enriched by brown bark with veins similar to that of a real tree, from which green stems branch out (only in the vegetative period, during the rest period the caudex uses its internal water reserves to "survive" waiting for the new flowering).
